Business Analyst Career Paths: Have You Considered Business Relationship Management?

As Business Analysts progress in their careers, there is a natural tendency to wonder what comes next. Questions such as "How do I get to the next level?" or "What IS the next level?" are common.

In this presentation you will be introduced to the profession of Business Relationship Management. Like Business Analysis, Business Relationship Management has undergone a systematic, 'professionalization' in recent years. Learn how your Business Analysis skills can be fully leveraged to assume a leadership position as a Business Relationship Manager in your organization in order to 'get to the next level' in your career.

What an Attendee Will Learn:

  • Gain an understanding of the Strategic vs Tactical Business Relationship Management (BRM) role
  • Identify the competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviors) that are required to be successful in the BRM role
  • Compare/contrast the Business Analyst vs BRM role
  • Identify steps a Business Analyst can take to transition into a BRM role within their organization
