Tom Tomasovic is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and BA trainer, known for building creative, hands-on tools to help analysts prepare for certification and sharpen real-world skills.
Session Abstract: Stuck on a practice question that just doesn't seem to make sense? Often the problem isn't the question — it's something you're missing. In this session, Tom Tomasovic demonstrates Digital Tom, an AI coaching assistant, working through real CBAP-style practice questions: separating exam "fluff" from the actual point of the stem, and filling in explanations when the answer key falls short. Then Digital Tom builds a brand-new practice question from scratch on a topic the audience suggests — distractors, explanations, and all.
The session closes with a quick look at Digital Tom's range beyond exam prep: a brief introduction to Bob, a stakeholder from the Ohio Valley Vineyards simulation used in Tom's broader BA training work.
